Recently I attended a seminar for school administrators and ed tech coordinators. My purpose in attending this seminar was to learn of the perceptions held by school administrators about information and technology. A side benefit was to learn about new technologies that might be useful in a school library program for increasing positive results. I was not disappointed. As attendees, we looked at Web 2.0 issues; used RSS feeds (by the way, you can subscribe to the New York Times Sunday book review section via an RSS feed? We also looked at the latest in netbook technology for schools--comparing and evaluating them with representative vendors available to discuss them with us.
